The Delhi edition of Season II of Agency Reporter Connected TV Asia Symposium, presented by Jio Cinema, powered by mediasmart, and in association with Lemma and MiQ, was a landmark event that brought together over 120 professionals from across brands, agencies, and service providers to explore the dynamic landscape of Connected TV. The symposium and the inaugural Connected TV Advertising Awards ceremony hosted by Agency Reporter offered a comprehensive platform for industry leaders to share insights, discuss trends, and celebrate achievements in the Connected TV space.

The agenda for the event was meticulously crafted, offering a perfect blend of panel discussions and presentations, ensuring that attendees gained valuable insights and perspectives throughout the day.

The morning began with opening remarks by Rahul Puri, Founder and Editor, Agency Reporter, setting the tone for what would be a day filled with illuminating discussions and networking opportunities.

Following was a captivating panel discussion titled “The ‘Connect’ in Connected TV: Redefining the Viewing Experience for All Ages,” featuring a lineup of distinguished speakers- Niti Kumar, Chief Operating Officer at Starcom; Mayank Prabhakar, GM & Head – Digital Marketing at VIVO; and Archana Agarwal, Vice President – Media at Airtel.

Moderated by Shradha Agarwal, Co-Founder & CEO at Grapes, the panel delved into the evolving landscape of Connected TV and its impact on audience engagement across different demographics.

Following this, attendees were treated to an in-depth discussion on “The Art of Viewer Acquisition in the Connected TV Ecosystem,” featuring industry experts such as Gourab Banerjee, GM – Marketing & Head – Digital Marketing at Radico Khaitan Limited, Bhairavi Rangarajan, Head – Digital Marketing and MarComm at Kohler India; Shantanu Chauhan, Director – Marketing (D2C & Marketplaces) at Noise and Hansveen Kaur, Head – Brand Management & Digital Marketing at VoltasBeko.

Moderated by Raghav Bagai, Co-Founder at Sociowash, the panel explored strategies for effectively acquiring and retaining viewers in the competitive Connected TV landscape.

After a brief break, the symposium resumed with a stimulating Whiteboard Session titled “Unveiling CTV’s Potential: A Whiteboard of Possibilities,” moderated by Bharat Khatri, Chief Digital Officer, APAC, Omnicom Media Group. The session featured insights from industry leaders including Rajiv Dubey, Senior General Manager & Head Of Media at Dabur; Anupam Tripathi, Media Head at Lenskart; Akhil Sethi, Head Of Digital Marketing at HARMAN; Gopa Menon, Head of Digital, – South Asia at Mindshare and Nitesh Trivedi, MIUI Lead – TV & Smartphone Partnership & Monetization at Xiaomi Technology

These experts discussed the vast potential of Connected TV and explored innovative strategies for leveraging this platform to drive brand growth.

A highlight of the day was a spotlight presentation by Jio Cinema titled “Ushering The New Era Of CTV Dominance,” delivered by Shridhar Venkataramana, Senior Director – Brand Solutions & Customer Marketing – Sports at Viacom18 Media Private Limited. He provided valuable insights into the future of Connected TV and its implications for the media industry.

In the afternoon sessions, the Connected TV Asia Symposium in Delhi continued to offer deep insights into various facets of the industry, with panel discussions and presentations focusing on sports marketing, advertising metrics, and the retrospective analysis of the past year’s trends.

The session titled “From Stadium to Screen: Navigating Sports Marketing Across CTV” featured a distinguished panel of experts- Saurabh Saini, Head – Digital Marketing & Communications at Havells; Avinash Tiwary, Head of Digital – North at Havas Media; Anadi Sharma, General Manager Marketing at Revolt Motors and Manas Gulati, Co-Founder & CEO at ARM Worldwide.

Moderated by Siddharth Dabhade, Managing Director at MiQ, the panel explored the evolving landscape of sports marketing in the context of Connected TV. They discussed the unique opportunities and challenges this platform presents for brands looking to engage with sports enthusiasts and capitalize on the growing popularity of sports content across digital channels.

Following this engaging discussion, Nachiket Deole, Head of Sales, India at DoubleVerify, took the stage for a solo presentation titled “Unraveling the Metrics Magic: Connected TV Advertising Under the Lens.” Nachiket provided attendees with valuable insights into the intricacies of advertising metrics in the Connected TV space, shedding light on key performance indicators and best practices for optimizing ad campaigns on this platform.

Moderated by Digital Marketing expert Kushal Sanghvi, the panel offered a retrospective analysis of the trends and developments that have shaped the Connected TV landscape over the past year.
