We cover the business of reaching people at scale.
In a world where every brand is fighting for attention across a hundred screens, platforms, and feeds — someone has to make sense of how it all actually works. That’s what Agency Reporter does.
We are India’s publication for the people who build, buy, plan, and power advertising. Not the campaigns themselves — but the infrastructure, the ideas, and the decisions behind them. We write for CMOs, media planners, adtech builders, agency strategists, and platform leaders who want to understand the industry they’re operating in — not just keep up with it.
Our Four Areas of Focus01
AdTech & Programmatic
How ads are bought, sold, targeted, and measured — in real time, at scale. From DSPs and SSPs to retail media and programmatic DOOH, this is the engine room of modern advertising.
02
Connected TV & Streaming
Where television meets digital precision — and why advertisers are following viewers there. We cover CTV advertising, OTT business models, measurement, and what shoppable TV actually means for brands.
03
Creator Economy & Influencer Marketing
Who’s shaping purchase decisions today — and the business models powering the creator world. From micro-influencer strategy and live commerce to creator-brand deal structures and ASCI compliance.
04
AI in Advertising
The technology rewriting how campaigns are built, targeted, and optimised. AI-powered creative, predictive bidding, virtual influencers, agentic media buying — we cover it as it applies to advertising, not in the abstract.
These four together form our territory. We don’t cover everything — we cover what matters to the people who make advertising work. Our editorial voice is that of a knowledgeable colleague over chai: direct, curious, and always more interested in the “why” and “how” than the headline.
Most of our readers are senior marketing and media professionals — people who have seen every buzzword come and go and just want clear, honest writing about what’s actually happening. We write for them. No jargon for the sake of it. No AI-sounding copy. Just useful, well-researched reporting that treats our readers as the smart people they are.
“Most publications tell you what happened. We tell you what it means — and what to do next.”
Beyond the website, we produce some of India’s leading industry gatherings for the advertising and adtech community — bringing the same editorial focus to live conversation and peer learning.
Connected TV Asia Symposium & Awards
India’s dedicated platform for CTV advertising leaders — Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai.
Programmatic Asia Symposium & Awards
A focused gathering for programmatic advertising professionals across India and Asia.
Dropzone
India’s first creator commerce festival — bringing brands and creators together, offline.

The thinking behind
the logo
The name is set in lowercase, deliberately. Not a stylistic quirk — a statement. Lowercase is approachable, human, direct. It’s how you’d write it in a message to a colleague. “agency reporter” in lowercase says: we are serious without being stuffy. The same way we write — no jargon, no performance.
“agency” sits lighter above. “reporter” lands heavy below. The weight difference is not decoration — it’s hierarchy made visible. We cover the agency world. “reporter” is what we are. “agency” is the beat we’re on. The logo tells that story in two words and two weights.
The small green square at the end of “reporter” is not a period. It is a pixel — the single smallest unit of every screen, every ad, every CTV frame, every creator reel, every AI-generated image. Everything we cover begins and ends with a pixel being lit. It is our full stop, our proof point, and our editorial territory, compressed into 8×8 points.
Two colours. Signal Blue — the deep blue of a broadcast monitor, of data travelling through a DSP, of trust built over time. Signal Green — the colour of a live indicator, of a pixel lighting up, of something happening right now. Together they say: we are authoritative and we are live. We carry history and we are always current.
The favicon is simply the first two letters of “agency reporter” — extracted, enlarged, and contained. “ar” is the shorthand the industry already uses. The pixel sits in the corner like a tally light on a live camera. The two colour variants — blue on green, green on blue — are interchangeable. Both are equally primary. No hierarchy between them.
Fraunces — an optical serif designed to get richer and more expressive at display sizes. The double-storey ‘a’ and the curved arm of the ‘r’ give the “ar” mark its character. At large sizes the letterforms carry editorial authority. At small sizes they stay legible. It was built for exactly this: a publication that lives at every scale from a browser tab to a stage.
The logo doesn’t explain what we do. It embodies it. Every element — the lowercase, the weight contrast, the pixel, the colours, the typeface — is a direct translation of our editorial philosophy into visual language. We cover the business of reaching people at scale. The logo reaches you with exactly the same logic.
