Wizikey launches Wizikey Local, qualifying press reach out to 50 Indian cities

Helps #IndiaMeetBharat through the extensive press network with a readership of 300mn+

IAN backed startup, Wizikey.com launched Wizikey Local, for corporates and brands to reach out to 300mn + consumers in tier 2 and tier 3 towns of India via the editorial press. This first of its kind initiative makes Wizikey, Asia’s first VC backed PR SaaS Startup, the largest regional press distribution network.

Wizikey Local covers more than 50 cities in India. From Imphal to Surat and Srinagar to Coimbatore, India has more than 600 publications (that IRS covers). Most brands are able to tap only the national dailies and reporters with corporate/ product and trend announcements, leaving out a critical mass. To progress on an ‘Atmanirbhar’ Bharat, authentic information flow has never been more critical. Wizikey Local is timely and relevant for brands to reach out to press in regional India and create information flow to the right audiences. It allows businesses to reach out to any of the enlisted 50 cities with an announcement.

On the launch, Anshul Sushil, CEO, Wizikey said, “Press has been the most authentic source of information for Indians across India. A lot of Indian brands and SMEs are today building and innovating to help Indians in these times of crisis and uncertainty. It is, therefore, fair that businesses, large or small, should have access to local press. Therefore, Wizikey Local was a natural progression for us.  We aim to standardise and increase access to 100 cities within three months. This is our way of contributing to an ‘Atmanirbhar’ Bharat

Wizikey Local has the potential to expand the scope of the current INR 2000 CR PR Industry altogether,” added Anshul.

Wizikey Local unlocks an opportunity for businesses to do local press, inter and cross Indian state borders. It is satcheting press reach out to regional cities and I cannot think of a better time than now when I see that Indian startups are building for Bharat,” said Alok Mittal, Founder of Indifi and Lead investor from IAN in Wizikey.
