FarEye had been mentioned in Gartner’s market guide for vehicle routing & scheduling

FarEye, the SaaS platform for predictive visibility for businesses to execute, track, collaborate, predict and optimize the movement of goods has been mentioned as a key sample vendor in Gartner’s recent Market Guide for Vehicle Routing and Scheduling report; published on 23 June 2020. This is the 13th FarEye mention by Gartner and 3rd in the Market Guide for Vehicle Routing & Scheduling (2017, 2019). Gartner has mentioned FarEye in other researches for its real-time visibility platform, Global logistic visibility, and Vehicle routing and scheduling.

As per Gartner’s report, Vehicle routing and scheduling (VRS) applications are evolving into solutions in which the routing algorithm is almost becoming a secondary feature. There is an increased focus on new technologies, such as machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI), and on functions such as last-mile fulfillment and customer experience. E-commerce and the transition to online shopping for many organizations continue to be a driver to adopt VRS technologies. The current global pandemic caused by COVID-19 has spurred many fleet-based organizations to look at VRS technologies as an ally to solve many of the challenges that have arisen in this crisis. Examples of this are geofencing capabilities and instant notification to keep drivers and end customers safe and compliant with new social-distancing measures.

Gartner’s Market Guide for Vehicle Routing & Scheduling lists FarEye, among representative vendors for more diversified fleet and routing options. FarEye’s VRS application offers geofencing and geocoding capabilities enhanced with machine learning technologies. About its last-mile capabilities, FarEye Delivery includes dynamic slot booking capabilities, which can be integrated into its customers’ web portals to allow end customers to choose their delivery preferences in terms of delivery time or delivery cost. It also highlights our zero fees offering FarEye Serve which was an initiative to help organizations involved in the deliveries of essential items to ensure on-time and contactless deliveries amidst the pandemic.

“COVID 19 impacted logistics operations due to subsequent lockdowns, driver shortages, and increased customer demand for home deliveries. We are working hard and trying to make sure that our platform works seamlessly and provides its services to its consumers safely.  We feel truly honored to receive the recognition in the Gartner’s Market Guide for Vehicle Routing & Scheduling. The recognition is a testimony to the efforts taken towards innovating FarEye’s Predictive Logistics Platform, constantly, which enables enterprises to move goods efficiently. “Says Kushal Nahata, CEO and Co-founder, FarEye.
