Ambuja Cement Foundation Bags The Best Corporate (Large Category) Award At The 3rd ICSI CSR Excellence Award

Ambuja Cement Foundation (ACF) has been recognized for its work in nation building and CSR, by taking home the  Best Corporate (Large Category) Award at the 3^rd ICSI CSR Excellence Award.

Ambuja Cement Foundation has created a significant societal impact over the past 25 years. As a grassroots, pan India implementing organization, ACF harnesses the power of partnerships – between communities, Governments and like-minded corporates and NGOs, to help solve pressing community problems and to foster prosperity in rural communities. 

Ms Pearl Tiwari, Director and CEO of Ambuja Cement Foundation was on hand to collect the prestigious award at a ceremony which featured the 18^th ICSI National Awards for Excellence in Corporate Governance, and 3^rd ICSI CSR Excellence Award, recently held at The Taj Mahal Palace, Colaba, Mumbai.

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is a statutory body constituted under the Company Secretaries Act, 1980 to regulate and develop the profession of Company Secretaries in India. ICSI recognizes not only the companies implementing the best practices in corporate governance, but also promote the spirit of Corporate Social Responsibility by acknowledging the unique and extraordinary contributions of corporates and awarding them with the ICSI CSR Excellence Awards.
