IPREX to host its annual global conference for the first time in India

IPREX, a global network of independent PR/communications firms is holding its historic 40th anniversary Annual Global Conference (AGC) in India for the first time in its existence. To be held in Delhi from March 1st to 3rd, the conference will see senior leaders from partner agencies across Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and the Americas in attendance. PRHUB, one of India’s leading full service, independent PR/communication firms and the sole Indian partner for IPREX, is hosting the event. This is only the second time the global conference has been held in Asia- the event was previously hosted in Shanghai, China in the early 2010’s.

Julie Exner, Global President of IPREX, commented on the occasion,”I am extremely excited to be in India for the first time and am sure the same is true for many other partners. As economies within Asia grow exponentially, it is important that agency partners in the Americas and EMEA gain a deeper understanding of the region. Having been to China for a prior AGC, meeting in India seemed like a natural next step. IPREX would like to thank Xavier PRabhu, President for the APAC region, for his unwavering enthusiasm and leadership in getting the AGC to India.”

Added, Xavier PRabhu, Founder & MD of PRHUB + President – APAC and member of the global board of IPREX,”My heartfelt thanks  goes out to the global board and the executive committee without whose support this wouldn’t have been possible. It is an honor that India hosts the annual conference on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of IPREX. Look forward to doing our best to expose the visiting partners to the resurgent India and the huge opportunity that it both presents and represents, not to mention the leaps the Indian PR and communication industry has made in the past few years, delivering work that is among the best in the world.”
