Sunil Nair, ALTBalaji’s Chief Operating Officer steps down
After nearly 4 years of being associated with ALTBalaji, Sunil Nair, COO, announced his resignation today. His last day with the organisation will be the 30th of September.
The news him stepping down was announced by him through LinkedIn on his official handle. Responsible for building India’s first pure-play original video content platform, he joined ALTBalaji in June 2015. This was two years before the service was successfully launched on 16th April, 2017.
He also worked for brands like Reliance Jio, Star India, OneChannel Media LLC. Apart from being in leadership positions with many major brands, he is also known for setting up the first online video distribution platform namely, Nautanki.tv which was acquired by Hungama in 2010.
Apart from leading major brands, he has published travelogues, poetry collections and books on his travel experiences. The news of him stepping down comes after the resignation of Sunil Lulla from the post of CEO of Balaji Telefilms group last month.
